The Breakfast Club star Anthony Michael Hall recently made his mark on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, leaving fans in the lurch about the whopping fortune he makes from acting for a living.
The actor is known for his iconic roles, including teen classics Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Weird Science. His more recent stint involved bagging some serious cash on the ABC game show – $75K, in fact.

Anthony’s fame on The Breakfast Club
Anthony, whose first name is actually Michael, transposed his first and middle names when he entered show business because there was another actor named Michael Hall who was already a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
His acting career began when he appeared in commercials aged seven, where he became known as the Honeycomb cereal kid. Then he moved onto stage, when he was cast as Steve Allen in The Wake play.
The star’s breakout role came in 1984 though, when he was cast as Farmer Ted, the braces-wearing geek who pursued Molly Ringwald’s character in John Hughes’ Sixteen Candles.
Just a year later, he became known for playing Brian Johnson, aka “the brain,” in teen film The Breakfast Club. Getting a real taste of fame, he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live (SNL) during its 1985–86 season at the age of 17!

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune star’s net worth
Anthony has acquired a huge taste of luxury since starring in big-time films, which has led to his whopping $10million net worth as of February 2022. Even a two-year break before the ’90s didn’t stop him from returning to acting.
He went through a series of appearances in low-budget films and guest roles on TV series in the mid and late 1990s, then regained media attention once again in the 1999 Emmy-nominated movie Pirates of Silicon Valley.
Now running his own production company banner AMH Entertainment, New York Magazine named him a member of the “Brat Pack”, the group of young actors who became famous in the 1980s and frequently starred together.
Playing for his charity Save The Children, he starred on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune with Pat Sajak and Loni Love. There, he makes clear that despite all of his wealth, he still wants to help those in need.
